It is with great pride and pleasure that I welcome
you to the newly launched website of the Pancretan
Association of Melbourne - Australia.
Our aim is to develop the website further giving
our members a main communication and informative
medium with their beloved Association, as well
as all the Cretans of Australia and Cretans of
the world the opportunity to read and be informed
of our Association's efforts and achievements to
date.
Our Associations main aim is to sustain and promote
moral, cultural and historical traditions as well
as the language of the birthland of Crete through
the creation and support of social events, celebrations
of historic anniversaries, lectures, play performances,
exhibitions, dancing performances as well as other
educational activities.
We have set up the website in such a way making
it a live, current and uptodate communication Forum,
giving you the opportunity to be informed of up
and coming events and activites that are taking
place.
I sincerely thank our website major sponsor the
Bank of Cyprus for they have been invaluable to
this organisation as well as our minor sponsors
for their contribution. I urge that you support
them so they can continue sponsoring our association.
I hope you enjoy browsing through our site giving
you a brief outlook of our associations history,
